Tai Smith of Mount Olive Named Conference Carolinas Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Tai Smith of Mount Olive has been named the Conference Carolinas Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
The league office made the official announcement on Monday, Oct. 7, 2019. Smith has now won the weekly honor twice in the 2019 season.
A native of Glendale, Ariz., Smith posted an 8K time of 24:21.4 at the prestigious Paul Short Invitational.
Competing against NCAA Division I and II competitors, Smith finished 68th out of 380.
