Brady Samuels of Salem Chosen Conference Carolinas Men’s Swimmer of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Brady Samuels of Salem has been chosen as the Conference Carolinas Men’s Swimmer of the Week.
The league office made the official announcement on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019.
A sophomore from Cape Town, South Africa, Samuels picked up two first-place finishes individually in a dual meet against Fairmont State. He claimed the top spot in the 100-yard butterfly (54.36) and the 200-yard individual medley (2:03.15).
Samuels was also part of two winning relays teams in the 200-yard medley (1:40.42) and the 400-yard freestyle (3:22.59).

Conference Carolinas has a rich tradition in roots that dates back to its early initial inception on Dec. 6, 1930. The NCAA Division II athletics conference presently has member schools located in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
