Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Champion Mount Olive to Face North Georgia in NCAA Tournament
INDIANAPOLIS - Conference Carolinas regular season and tournament champion Mount Olive earned the sixth seed in the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Southeast Regional.
Mount Olive is making its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance. The Trojans advanced to the NCAA Tournament by winning the 2019 Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Championship.
Two second half goals allowed top-seeded Mount Olive to secure the Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Championship title in a 2-1 victory over second-seeded Belmont Abbey in the tournament final on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2019.
The tournament title was the first for Mount Olive women's soccer since 2004.
Mount Olive enters the NCAA Division lI Women's Soccer Tournament undefeated at 14-0-3. The Trojans will take on third-seeded North Georgia (15-2-2) in Hickory, N.C. at 3 p.m. on Friday. More information will be available in the future on
