Ashley Woods of King Named Conference Carolinas Women's Swimmer of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Ashley Woods of King has been named the Conference Carolinas Women’s Swimmer of the Week.
The league office made the official announcement on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019.
A freshman out of Keller, Texas, Woods set four individual King women’s swimming records at the 2019 Sheraton Le Meridien Fall Frenzy Invite at the Mecklenburg Municipal Pool in Charlotte, N.C.
She was also part of a record-setting 400-yard freestyle relay team where she swam the first leg. Woods set individual school records in the 500-yard freestyle, the 200-yard backstroke, the 1000-yard freestyle and the 1650-yard freestyle at the Fall Frenzy Invite.

Conference Carolinas has a rich tradition in roots that dates back to its early initial inception on Dec. 6, 1930. The NCAA Division II athletics conference presently has member schools located in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
