Josiah Ortiz of Limestone Tabbed Conference Carolinas Men’s Soccer Player of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Josiah Ortiz of Limestone has been tabbed as the Conference Carolinas Men’s Soccer Player of the Week.
The league office made the official announcement on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019.
Ortiz registered four goals in a 2-0-1 week for Limestone last week. The freshman midfielder from Buford, Ga. collected a hat trick in Limestone’s 6-1 win over Mount Olive on Nov. 2. He followed that up with a goal in Limestone’s 4-0 road win at King on Nov. 4.
The hat trick was Limestone’s first since the 2015 season.
