DeQuan Abrom of Belmont Abbey Chosen Conference Carolinas Men’s Basketball Player of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. – DeQuan Abrom of Belmont Abbey has been selected as the Conference Carolinas Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
The league office made the official announcement on Monday, Dec. 2, 2019.
Abrom finished Belmont Abbey’s win over Limestone on Nov. 27 with 25 points, five rebounds, four assists, three steals and one block.
The preseason All-American from Washington, D.C. finished the win over Limestone shooting 9-of-15 (60 percent) from the field overall. The senior guard connected on 50 percent (4-of-8) of his three-point attempts. The reigning Conference Carolinas Player of the Year was also a perfect 3-of-3 at the charity stripe.
