Mount Olive Tabbed Preseason Favorite in Conference Carolinas Men’s Indoor Track & Field Preseason Poll

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Mount Olive has been picked to win the 2019-20 Conference Carolinas Men’s Indoor Track & Field Championship. 

The league office made the official announcement on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019. The preseason poll was picked by the league’s head coaches. The indoor track & field season officially gets underway this upcoming weekend. 

Mount Olive secured nine first-place votes and a total of 90 points to capture the top spot. The Trojans earned their sixth conference indoor title last season. 

Limestone was picked second with a total of 81 points. The Saints collected one first-place vote. North Greenville was tabbed third with 72 total points.

Barton (62) was chosen fourth, while King (52) was tabbed fifth followed closely by Southern Wesleyan (51). Emmanuel (48), Lees-McRae (37), Belmont Abbey (27) and Erskine (20) closed out the voting in the preseason tally.
