Mount Olive Picked as Favorite in Conference Carolinas Women’s Indoor Track & Field Preseason Tally

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Mount Olive has been chosen as the preseason favorite in the 2019-20 Conference Carolinas Women’s Indoor Track & Field Preseason Poll.

The preseason poll was released on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019. The preseason poll was picked by the league’s head coaches. The 2019-20 indoor track & field season gets underway this upcoming weekend.

Winners of six straight Conference Carolinas indoor titles, Mount Olive received eight first-place votes and a total score of 97 to claim top honors in the preseason tally.

Southern Wesleyan was right behind Mount Olive with a total of 88 points. SWU obtained two first-place votes. Limestone was third with 83 total points.

North Greenville (71) was fourth followed by Converse (61) and King (58). Emmanuel (41), Barton (32), Lees-McRae (29), Erskine (22) and Belmont Abbey (22) rounded out the poll.
