North Greenville's Bedard Named Conference Carolinas Men's Tennis Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – North Greenville University's Pierre-Olivier Bedard was named Conference Carolinas Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Feb. 11-17, the Conference announced today.

Bedard, a junior from Varennes, Quebec, registered a 4-0 combined record last week, including a win against the No. 36 ranked doubles team in Division I.

Lenoir-Rhyne University (2-5, L):
No. 2 Singles - 6-3, 7-5
No. 1 Doubles - 6-4

College of Charleston (1-6, L):
No. 2 Singles - 6-2, 6-0
No. 1 Doubles - 7-6 (10-8)

 

Also nominated for Men's Tennis Player of the Week
Diego Agudelo (Barton) - Went a combined 2-0 (1-0 singles, 1-0 doubles).
Armando Ferreira (Mount Olive) - Went a combined 2-0 (1-0 singles, 1-0 doubles).
Leonard Sanders (Southern Wesleyan) - Went a combined 1-1 (1-0 singles, 0-1 doubles).
Charles Jabaley (King) - Went a combined 1-1 (1-0 singles, 0-1 doubles).
