Barton's Stevenson Named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Barton College's Marissa Stevenson was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Feb. 18-24, the Conference announced today. This marks the first POTW for Stevenson and second overall for Barton.
A junior from Kirk Michael, Isle of Man, Stevenson went a combined 3-0 and led the Bulldogs to a 1-1 record last week.
Francis Marion University (3-4, L):
No. 2 Singles - 3-6, 6-4, 6-1
No. 1 Doubles - 6-3
Bluefield State College (4-3, W):
No. 2 Singles - 6-1, 6-1

Mackenzie Langmade (Lees-McRae) - Went a combined 2-0 (1-0 singles, 1-0 doubles).
Luiza Souza (Erskine) - Went a combined 2-0 (1-0 singles, 1-0 doubles).
Lina Maria Romero Alarcon (Mount Olive) - Went a combined 2-0 (1-0 singles, 1-0 doubles).
