Conference Carolinas Sends Three Individuals and Two Relay Teams to the 2019 NCAA Division II Swimming Championships
INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – The NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Committee announced the qualifiers for the 2019 NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships on Wednesday (Feb 27). The championships will be held March 13-16 in Indianapolis, Ind.
Emmanuel College is the only Conference Carolinas team that will be in the 2019 field with three individual swimmers and two relay teams selected. Joao Santos and Alex Sobers each qualified in two individual events, while Thiago Rosa qualified in one event. Emmanuel's 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams also qualified.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 11 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, and Southern Wesleyan University.
