No. 1 Seed Emmanuel Wins 2019 Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Championship
FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA. – No. 1 seed Emmanuel College claimed the 2019 Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Championship on Sunday (Mar. 10) afternoon after defeating No. 2 seed Belmont Abbey College by a score of 75-72.
This win secures the Lions their first-ever Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Championship title in their first year of postseason eligibility. The victory also notches Emmanuel an automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Championship, which is the team's first-ever NCAA Men's Basketball postseason appearance.
The Lions will find out their 2019 NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Championship seeding tonight on the NCAA Selection Show.
