Five South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Student-Athletes Earn All-America Status at 2019 NCAA Division II Men's Wrestling Championship
HIGH POINT, N.C. – South Atlantic Conference Carolinas had 20 student-athletes in 10 different weight classes compete at the 2019 NCAA Division II Men's Wrestling Championship in Cleveland, Ohio at The Wolstein Center from Mar. 8-9. Five competitors earned All-America honors.
Newberry College had three wrestler earn All-America status in Isiah Royal earning runner-up in the 141 weight class, while teammates Austin Palmer (157) and Patton Gossett (285) each finished in seventh-place in their respective weight classes.
Limestone College had a pair of All-America wrestlers in Matthew Rodriguez-Kirkland finishing in seventh place of the 165 weight class, while Anthony Collins finished eighth in the 184 weight class.
