Limestone's Sundown Named Conference Carolinas Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College attack Larson Sundown has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week for games played from Mar. 11-17, the Conference announced today. This marks the first POTW for Sundown and third overall for Limestone.
Sundown, a junior from Basom, N.Y., averaged seven points per game and led No. 2 Limestone to a pair of wins over then-nationally ranked No. 13 Rockhurst and No. 9 Seton Hill last week. Sundown registered 14 points on 12 goals and two assists with eight ground balls last week.
In a 16-3 rout of Rockhurst to start the week, Sundown tallied eight goals and dished out one helper for eight points while adding three ground balls. Sundown would propel Limestone to a narrow 15-14 win over Seton Hill by scoring five goals and handing out one assist with five ground balls.
Sundown currently ranks first in Conference Carolinas in goals (31), while ranking third in points (40).

Alec Molander (Lees-McRae) - Posted 10 points on six goals and four assists in two games.
Zachary Hodge (Barton) - Posted eight points on six goals and two assists in two games.
Matthew Mitchell (Emmanuel) - Posted 12 points on seven goals and five assists in one game.
Connor Watson (Mount Olive) - Posted six points on three goals and three assists in one game.
