Limestone's Cortes Named Conference Carolinas Women's Bimonthly Golfer of the Month
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College's Reme Cortes has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Bimonthly Golfer of the Month for tournaments played the second half of March, the Conference announced today. This marks the second POTW for Cortes and fifth overall for Limestone.
A senior from Madrid, Spain, Cortes led the No. 14 Saints to a pair of top-15 finishes at the Low Country Invitational and Barry University Invitational.
At the Low Country Invitational, Cortes notched a ninth-place finish against a Division I field with a two-round score of 151 (79-72), which earned the Saints a third-place team finish. Cortes would then post a three-round score of 226 (74-77-75) for a 34th-place finish at the Barry University Invitational, which landed the Saints a 13th-place team finish.
