Emmanuel's Cipriano Named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Emmanuel College's Pearllan Cipriano was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Mar. 18-24, the Conference announced today.

A senior from Taunton, United Kingdom, Cipriano went a combined 6-0 and led the Lions to a 3-0 team record in Conference Carolinas action last week.

North Greenville University (6-1, W):
No. 2 Singles - 7-5, 4-6, 1-0 (10-8)
No. 2 Doubles - 6-3

King University (7-0, W):
No. 2 Singles - 7-6, 6-3
No. 2 Doubles - 6-3

Lees-McRae College (5-2, W):
No. 2 Singles - 6-3, 6-3
No. 2 Doubles - 6-3

 

Also nominated for Women's Tennis Player of the Week
Laura Seib (Belmont Abbey) - Went a combined 2-0 (1-0 singles, 1-0 doubles).
Ana Chirila (Limestone) - Went a combined 4-0 (2-0 singles, 2-0 doubles).
