No. 1 Seed Emmanuel Wins 2019 Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Championship

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA. – No. 1 seed Emmanuel College captured the 2019 Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Championship on Friday (Mar. 8) night after defeating No. 3 seed Belmont Abbey College by a score of 69-57.

In its first season of postseason eligibility, Emmanuel earns the Conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Championship with the victory. The Lions will find out their 2019 NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Championship seeding on Sunday (Mar. 10) night on the NCAA Selection Show.
