No. 5 Seed Lees-McRae Wins 2019 Conference Carolinas Softball Championship

BURLINGTON, N.C. - No. 5 seed Lees-McRae College captured the 2019 Conference Carolinas Softball Championship on Sunday (Apr. 28) afternoon.

The Bobcats knocked off No. 6 seed Southern Wesleyan University, 2-0, and went a perfect 4-0 during the championship. The win secured Lees-McRae its first-ever Conference Carolinas softball championship and automatically qualifies the team for the 2019 NCAA Division II Softball Championship.
