Limestone's Aholu Named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College's Laura Aholu was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Mar. 25-31, the Conference announced today.

Aholu, a sophomore from Bordeaux, France, went a combined 4-0 and led the Saints to a 2-0 team record in Conference Carolinas action last week.

North Greenville University (6-1, W):
No. 1 Singles - 6-1, 6-3
No. 1 Doubles - 6-3

Southern Wesleyan University (6-1, W):
No. 1 Singles - 6-0, 6-2
No. 1 Doubles - 6-2

 

Also nominated for Women's Tennis Player of the Week
Laura Seib (Belmont Abbey) - Went a combined 4-0 (2-0 singles, 2-0 doubles).
Ece Yuksel (Mount Olive) - Went a combined 4-0 (2-0 singles, 2-0 doubles).
Katie Loudermilk (Erskine) - Went a combined 3-1 (1-1 singles, 2-0 doubles).
Cynthia Carrier (Chowan) - Went a combined 3-3 (2-1 singles, 1-2 doubles).
