Six Conference Carolinas Baseball Players Named to NCBWA All-America Team
PEMBROKE, N.C. - Six Conference Carolinas baseball players were named to the 2019 All-America team by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), the association announced Wednesday (May 29) afternoon.
North Greenville University placed a league-high four players on the team, while University of Mount Olive and Chowan University each earned one honoree. North Greenville's Tucker Burgess and Utah Jones both were tabbed first team selections, while teammates John Michael Faile and Adam Sasser collected second team accolades.
Rounding out the Conference's honorees were honorable mention picks Marquise Lanier of Chowan and Joe Mason of Mount Olive.
