Tobi Azeez of Mount Olive Chosen Conference Carolinas Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Tobi Azeez of Mount Olive has been chosen as the Conference Carolinas Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week.
The league office made the official announcement on Monday, Jan. 13, 2020.
A sophomore outside hitter out of Eltham, Victoria, Australia, Azeez averaged 3.83 kills per set last week for Mount Olive. He finished his four matches on the week hitting an impressive .315.
Azeez collected double-digit kills in three matches on the week, which included a season-best 15 in a win over Tusculum. Azeez also had nine digs, six blocks and two service aces in his four matches.
