Clenzo Ross of Southern Wesleyan Tabbed Conference Carolinas Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

GREENVILLE, S.C. - Clenzo Ross of Southern Wesleyan has been tabbed as the Conference Carolinas Men’s Basketball Player of the Week. 

The conference office made the official announcement on Monday, Jan. 13, 2020.

The redshirt senior guard out of Rock Hill, S.C. averaged 24.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game in two wins last week for Southern Wesleyan. He shot a scorching 58.6  percent (17-of-29) from the field.

Ross finished Southern Wesleyan’s 20-point road win over North Greenville on Jan. 8 with 24 points, seven rebounds and five assists. He followed that up by posting 25 points, eight rebounds and four assists in Southern Wesleyan’s 84-72 road win at regionally-ranked Belmont Abbey.
