Limestone Tabbed Preseason Favorite in Conference Carolinas Men’s Golf Preseason Poll
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Limestone was voted as the preseason favorite in the 2020 Conference Carolinas Men’s Golf Preseason Poll.
The conference office unveiled the polls voted on the by the league’s head coaches on Monday, Jan. 20, 2020.
Looking for its first tournament title since 2017, Limestone received six first-place votes and a total of 87 points to capture the top spot just ahead of second-place team Southern Wesleyan (76). Southern Wesleyan collected two-first place votes.
Barton (68) was third followed closely by Mount Olive (63). Both Barton and Mount Olive each received a single first-place vote.
Belmont Abbey (58) was tabbed fifth with Erskine (53), King (48), North Greenville (43), Emmanuel (21) and Chowan (13) closing out the voting in the preseason tally.
