Limestone Men’s Lacrosse Selected Favorite in Conference Carolinas Preseason Poll
GREENVILLE, S.C. – National preseason No. 1 Limestone has been tabbed as the favorite in the 2020 Conference Carolinas Men’s Lacrosse Preseason Poll.
The poll voted on by the league’s head coaches was officially released by the conference office on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2020.
Looking for its 12th Conference Carolinas Tournament title in the 2020 season, Limestone received all seven first-place votes it had available and a total of 70 points to secure the top spot. Belmont Abbey picked up six second-place votes and one third-place vote to sit second with 62 points. Mount Olive received the other first-place vote and a total of 60 points to hold down the third spot in the preseason tally.
North Greenville (52) was fourth in the poll followed by Barton (46), Emmanuel (37), Lees-McRae (35) and Chowan (30).
