Mount Olive Selected Favorite in 2020 Conference Carolinas Women’s Tennis Preseason Poll

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Mount Olive has been chosen as the favorite in the 2020 Conference Carolinas Women’s Tennis Preseason Poll.

The league office officially released the preseason tally voted on by the league’s head coaches on Friday, Jan. 24, 2020.

In the preseason poll, Mount Olive, Limestone and Emmanuel all received multiple first-place votes, but the Trojans did not receive a vote lower than a third-place finish to collect 110 points in total. The Trojans had four first-place votes. 

Limestone was second in the preseason poll with a total of 106 points. The Saints had three first-place votes. Emmanuel received four first-place votes and a total of 103 points to sit third in the preseason tally. 

Barton (90) was fourth in the poll followed by Erskine (81) and Belmont Abbey (76). The Crusaders received the other first-place vote. Converse (54), Lees-McRae (49), North Greenville (42), Southern Wesleyan (34), Chowan (32) and King (11) closed out the voting in the preseason poll.
