Angelos Mandilaris of Barton Named Conference Carolinas Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Angelos Mandilaris of Barton has been named the Conference Carolinas Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week.
The league office made the official announcement on Monday, Jan. 27, 2020.
A senior right side from Chalkida, Greece, Mandilaris averaged 19.0 kills, 3.7 digs, 2.3 service aces and 2.3 blocks per match in a 3-0 season-opening week for Barton. He hit an impressive .500 and averaged 5.18 kills per set.
The preseason All-American became Barton’s all-time leader in kills last weekend. He currently has 1,200 in his career.
