Breanna Locke of Emmanuel Selected Conference Carolinas Women’s Basketball Player of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Breanna Locke of Emmanuel has been named the Conference Carolinas Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
The league office made the official announcement on Monday, Jan. 6, 2020.
A junior forward/center from Flowery Branch, Ga., Locke averaged a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds per game in the last three games for the Lions. She also averaged 3.3 assists and 2.3 steals per game over the three-game stretch.
Currently leading Conference Carolinas with 17.2 points per game, Locke shot 50 percent (18-of-36) from the field overall in the three games. She was an impressive 16-of-17 (94.1 percent) from the free throw line.
