What is your hometown?
Colorado Springs, Colorado

Why did you choose your school?
To continue playing soccer and I was looking for a smaller school where I could get the attention needed in the classrooms to benefit my education.

How did you choose your major?
Freshman year I started as a sports management major. That very first semester I knew that wasn’t for me but I was taking an intro to exercise science class. I loved the class and started looking at what exercise science consists of and what you can do with it and loved how hands on it could be. So when second semester came freshman year I made the switch and have been happier ever since.

What is your favorite class? Why?
Exercise testing and prescription. During this class we did a variety of different things. I really enjoyed working hands on with a client (volunteer) and designing a workout plan for them to get healthier and better their life.

What is your dream job?
My dream job is to be a chiropractor.

What advice would you give to an incoming freshman?
Easier said than done, but don’t procrastinate! Make a schedule and set times to do things so you aren’t causing additional stress to your life.

How many years have you been involved with SAAC?
Three years.

What makes Conference Carolinas a great conference to be a part of?
We are made up of smaller DII schools but I think that gives us an advantage. We are all such a diverse group and by being smaller we really can engage and get to know/ help each other more.

What does being a champion in Body, Mind, and Soul mean to you?
To me being a champion in Body, Mind, and Soul means not just what we do as athletes on the field. We as students in the class room and as people in life being the best we can possibly be makes us champions. Winning in all aspects.

What is the most important thing you have learned from balancing the demands of athletics and academics?
Definitely be proactive and communicate between both the professors and coaching staff. Make time to do assignments throughout the day.

What is your most memorable moment as a student-athlete so far?
My most memorable moment as a student-athlete thus far was last season. Winning both regular season champs and then the conference tournament was such a surreal experience with such an amazing group of girls. It’s definitely something I’ll always remember about my college years.

One thing people don’t know about you is?
I don’t actually have a “hometown." I’ve lived in nine different states thus far in life due to the military. Colorado Springs was the last place I lived before coming to college. I lived there for three and half years - most of high school!

What is a non-athletic talent that you have?
I really enjoy cooking and being in the kitchen. I especially like educating and getting family and friends to try healthy versions of meals that taste way better than the “normal” way.

Favorite pump up song or music?
I’m not entirely sure - I get pumped to "We Ready" because that’s what our team plays every time we are walking out for a game!
