What is your hometown?
Walker, Louisiana

Why did you choose your school?
The first time I visited King University, I immediately felt at home. The campus community and culture is unlike any other school I have seen. King University will always be my home away from home.

How did you choose your major?

My major is Business Marketing and Management. I honestly chose this major by feeling. My first semester at King, I took an Economics class and loved it. After that I did some research and decided to switch my major to Business.

What is your favorite class? Why?
My favorite class I have had at King so far is Statistics. Our Statistics Professor is absolutely incredible and makes the class very enjoyable.

What is your dream job?
My dream job is to work in Marketing Research or Marketing Management.

What advice would you give to an incoming freshman?
The one thing I would tell an incoming freshman is to take lots of pictures. I have a picture book for every year of college. Pictures are a great way to remember the wonderful memories you made at college.

How many years have you been involved with SAAC?
This will be my third year working with my campus SAAC and my second year with National SAAC.

What makes Conference Carolinas a great conference to be a part of?
Conference Carolinas creates a warm and welcoming environment for all student-athletes. I feel like I have a second home within the conference.

What does being a Champion in Body, Mind, and Soul mean to you?
To me this statement means being a champion in everyday life. As student-athletes, we know how to be a champion on the field. However, it is also important to know how to be a champion off the field as well. This includes practicing good sportsmanship skills.

What is the most important thing you have learned from balancing the demands of athletics and academics?
The most important thing I have learned is to talk with someone when you feel overwhelmed. As student-athletes, we have a very busy schedule. Sometimes we just need to talk to someone who can help us through an overwhelming time.

What is your most memorable moment as a student-athlete so far?
My most memorable moment is making the "A Final" in the 200 Butterfly my freshman year.

One thing people don’t know about you is?
I love to ride my road bike!

What is a non-athletic talent that you have?
I love to draw and I used to play the violin.

Favorite pump up song or music?
"Champion" by Carrie Underwood.
