What is your hometown?
St. Augustine, Fla.
Why did you choose your school?
Athletics and the area.
How did you choose your major?
I chose Biology because hopefully it will help me get into food sustainability and I am very passionate about feeding the hungry.
What is your favorite class? Why?
My sophomore seminar on leadership because it taught important skills on how to be a good leader, which I think is important.
What is your dream job?
My dream job is to help solve food insecurity by developing more sustainable ways to grow nutritional food and to contribute to ending hunger.
What advice would you give to an incoming freshman?
I would tell an incoming freshman that life is short so cherish every moment and don’t take anything for granted and do everything you can to spread the good and be a positive impact wherever you go.
How many years have you been involved with SAAC?
This is my first year.
What makes Conference Carolinas a great conference to be a part of?
It is a great community and makes me feel very involved.
What does being a Champion in Body, Mind, and Soul mean to you?
To me it means to excel in all aspects of life. While athletics is important, it is most important to be an overall good person.
What is the most important thing you have learned from balancing the demands of athletics and academics?
It teaches the importance of responsibility and knowing how to manage a tight schedule as well as being held to a high standard as representing a group rather than just yourself.
What is your most memorable moment as a student-athlete so far?
Every moment I have with my team is memorable. They’re my family and my best friends and they remind me how beautiful life is.
One thing people don’t know about you is?
I like to write.
What is a non-athletic talent that you have?
Painting.
