Barton Named Favorite in 2020-21 Men’s Swimming Preseason Poll
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Two-time defending champion Barton has been selected as the favorite in the 2020-21 Conference Carolinas Men’s Swimming Preseason Poll.
The conference office officially released the preseason poll on Dec. 1, 2020. The preseason poll was voted on by the league’s head coaches.
Barton collected three first-place votes and a total of 23 points to claim the top spot in the preseason poll just ahead of Emmanuel (21), who also received three first-place votes. Lees-McRae was tabbed third with a total of 16 points followed by King (14), Chowan (11) and Salem (5).
The 2021 Conference Carolinas Men’s and Swimming Championships are scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 25-Saturday, Feb. 27 at the Kingsport Aquatic Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.
