Mount Olive Chosen Favorite in 2020-21 Women’s Golf Preseason Poll

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Mount Olive has been chosen as the favorite in the 2020-21 Conference Carolinas Women’s Golf Preseason Poll.
 
The conference office officially unveiled the preseason poll on Dec. 10, 2020. The preseason poll was voted on by the league’s head coaches.
 
Looking for its first Conference Carolinas Women’s Golf Championship since earning the title in stroke play in 2013, Mount Olive received eight first-place votes and a total of 80 points to secure the top spot in the preseason tally.
 
Belmont Abbey received one first-place vote and a total of 60 points to grab the second spot. Erskine (60) was third followed by Converse (57) and North Greenville (47). The Crusaders earned the final first-place vote. Barton (37), Emmanuel (33), Southern Wesleyan (33), King (29) and Chowan (13) closed out the voting in the preseason poll.
 
The 2021 Conference Carolinas Women’s Golf Championship is scheduled for Sunday, April 11-Tuesday, April 13 at the Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
