Mount Olive Picked as Favorite in 2021 Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Preseason Poll

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Mount Olive has been picked as the favorite in the 2021 Conference Carolinas Men's Outdoor Track & Field Preseason Poll.
 
The conference office officially unveiled the preseason poll on Dec. 17, 2020. The preseason poll was voted on by the league’s head coaches.
 
Mount Olive is looking for its ninth championship since 2009 in the 2021 Conference Carolinas Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Championship. In the 2021 preseason poll, Mount Olive received seven first-place votes and a total of 63 points to take top honors. North Greenville was right behind with 57 points. The Crusaders garnered two first-place votes.
 
Emmanuel (50) was picked third in the preseason poll and they were followed by Southern Wesleyan (44), Barton (35), Belmont Abbey (28), Lees-McRae (22), King (15) and Erskine (10).
 
The 2021 Conference Carolinas Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championships are scheduled for Friday, April 23 and Saturday, April 24 in Mount Olive, North Carolina on the University of Mount Olive campus.
