Mount Olive Chosen Favorite in Men’s Indoor Track & Field Preseason Poll

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Mount Olive has been chosen as the favorite in the 2020-21 Conference Carolinas Men's Indoor Track & Field Preseason Poll.
 
The conference office officially released the preseason poll on Dec. 2, 2020. The preseason poll was voted on by the league's head coaches.

Mount Olive will be looking for its fifth consecutive Conference Carolinas title at the 2021 Conference Carolinas Men's Indoor Track & Field Championship. The Trojans picked up seven first-place votes in securing the top spot in the preseason tally with a total of 78 points.

North Greenville received the three other first-place votes to sit second in the poll with a total of 68 points. Newcomer UNC Pembroke is just behind in third with 66 points. Emmanuel was tabbed fourth with 57 points.
 
Southern Wesleyan was fifth with 51 points followed by Barton (41), Belmont Abbey (33), Lees-McRae (27), King (18) and Erskine (11).
