North Greenville and Mount Olive Both in Top 20 in Preseason Collegiate Baseball Newspaper National Rankings
TUCSON, Ariz. – North Greenville and Mount Olive are both ranked in the top 20 in the 2021
Collegiate Baseball Newspaper preseason national rankings.
North Greenville is ranked fourth in the national preseason rankings, while Mount Olive is 16
th in the preseason rankings unveiled on Dec. 22, 2020.
The two teams were tied atop the 2021 Conference Carolinas Baseball Preseason Poll that was released last week. The conference preseason poll was voted on by the league’s head coaches.
North Greenville was ranked as high as No. 1 nationally last season. Mount Olive reached as high as No. 7 last year.
In addition to North Greenville and Mount Olive being ranked among the top 20, Belmont Abbey also received votes. Belmont Abbey was picked third in the 2021 Conference Carolinas Baseball Preseason Poll.
