What is your hometown?
San Antonio, Texas
 
Why did you choose your school?
For sports and the beautiful scenery that surrounds Banner Elk.
 
How did you choose your major?
Everything is a business at the end of the day and I’ve learned the ends and outs of it and have found a passion for it.
 
What is your favorite class? Why?
Psychology because it was a class I did not expect to like and enjoy. Dr. Carson makes Psychology interesting and entertaining through real examples and real experiments.
 
What is your dream job?
To work at the music streaming company, Spotify.
 
What advice would you give to an incoming freshman?
Be open to any obstacle and learn to try new things.
 
How many years have you been involved with SAAC?
First year involved with the Conference Carolinas SAAC.

What does being a Champion in Body, Mind, and Soul mean to you?
It means to be well in all aspects of your life and treat every day like you’re a champion.
 
What is the most important thing you have learned from balancing the demands of athletics and academics?
It doesn’t happen overnight and it takes time to be molded and forged into the routine.
 
What is your most memorable moment as a student-athlete so far?
Getting fifth as a freshman at conference finals for the 800m.
 
One thing people don’t know about you is?
I’m super quiet at first.
 
What is a non-athletic talent that you have?
I am pretty good at video games.
