Converse Chosen Favorite in Inaugural Acrobatics & Tumbling Preseason Poll

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Converse has been chosen as the favorite in the inaugural Conference Carolinas Acrobatics and Tumbling Preseason Poll.
 
The conference office officially unveiled the preseason poll on Dec. 9, 2020. The preseason poll was voted on by the league’s head coaches.
 
Ranked as high as eighth last season in the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) national poll, Converse received six first-place votes and a total of 62 points to secure the top spot in the preseason tally. King (57) and Limestone (52) were both ranked among the NCATA top-10 last year as well and were just behind Converse in the preseason poll. King received two first-place votes, while Limestone picked up the final first-place vote.
 
Belmont Abbey (42) was fourth in the preseason poll followed by Lander (35), Coker (28), Erskine (23), Emmanuel (13) and Chowan (12).
 
The inaugural Conference Carolinas Acrobatics & Tumbling Championship is scheduled for Saturday, April 10 (semifinals) and Sunday, April 11 (final) in Bristol, Tennessee on the campus of King University.
