Sean Kohlhase of King and Aleksa Lakic of Emmanuel Share Weekly Men’s Volleyball Honors
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Sean Kohlhase of King and Aleksa Lakic of Emmanuel shared this week’s Conference Carolinas Men’s Volleyball weekly honors.
The league office made the official announcement on Monday, Feb. 10.
A junior from Peoria, Ariz., Kohlhase averaged 3.57 kills and 1.29 digs per set in an undefeated weekend for King. Kohlhase had double-digit kills in a win over Emmanuel (15 kills) and Erskine (10 kills). In the win over Emmanuel, Kohlhase just missed on a double-double as he also had eight digs. He also had two blocks in the win. Kohlhase hit an impressive .404 in the two conference wins.
Chosen the National Outside Attacker of the Week by “Off the Block,” Lakic averaged 4.75 kills and 1.38 digs per set in a 1-1 week for Emmanuel. In Emmanuel’s four-set loss to King, Lakic had 15 kills and three digs. He followed that up with 23 kills and eight digs in a four-set win over Lees-McRae. The senior from Sremska Kamenica, Serbia also had four blocks in the match.
