Jordan Floyd of King Selected Conference Carolinas Men’s Basketball Player of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Jordan Floyd of King has been selected as the Conference Carolinas Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
The league office made the official announcement on Monday, Feb. 10, 2020.
Floyd averaged 43 points, eight rebounds, 4.5 assists and three steals per game in two wins for King last week. He shot 53.4 percent (31-of-58) from the field, which included going 10-of-21 (47.6 percent) from beyond the arc.
A senior guard from Stone Mountain, Ga., Floyd scored 43 points in both wins last week for Conference Carolinas-leading King. He now has six games this season where he has scored 40 or more points. He has scored a King program-best 43 points four times this season.
The nation’s-leading scorer at 31.2 points per game, Floyd currently has a King program-best 718 points this season. He is fifth all-time in King men’s basketball history with 1,662 points.
