Pilar Martinez of Limestone Claims Biweekly Women's Golfer Award

GREENVILLE, S.C. - Pilar Martinez of Limestone has been selected as the recipient of the Conference Carolinas Biweekly Women's Golfer Award for Feb. 12, 2020.

A senior from Malaga, Spain, Martinez collected her first top-5 finish of the 2019-20 season to kick things off this spring at the World Golf Invitational. It was the third top-10 finish of the season for the reigning Conference Carolinas Women's Golfer of the Year.

Martinez carded a 145 (75-70) to finish tied for fifth out of 95 golfers at the World Golf Invitational.

Conference Carolinas has a rich tradition in roots that dates back to its early initial inception on Dec. 6, 1930. The NCAA Division II athletics conference presently has member schools located in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
