Liam Maxwell of Belmont Abbey Named Conference Carolinas Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Liam Maxwell of Belmont Abbey has been chosen as the Conference Carolinas Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week.
The league office made the official announcement on Monday, Feb. 17, 2020.
A senior outside hitter from Manahawkin, N.J., Maxwell was phenomenal last week for Belmont Abbey in three league wins. He averaged 4.67 kills, 1.50 digs and 1.00 blocks per set. Maxwell also had five service aces.
Maxwell collected double-digit kills in all three wins, including 24 in a five-set win at Limestone on Feb. 12. He just missed on a double-double in Belmont Abbey’s win over Erskine with 20 kills and nine digs.
