Vic Brewington and Haley White of Limestone Earn Softball Weekly Honors
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Vic Brewington and Haley White of Limestone have picked up the Conference Carolinas softball weekly honors.
White has been selected as the Pitcher of the Week, while Brewington has been chosen as the Player of the Week.
Brewington hit .462 (6-of-13) in Limestone’s four games last week. The sophomore shortstop from Walterboro, S.C. had five RBIs in addition to three runs scored. Brewington had four extra-base hits on the week on two doubles and two home runs.
A sophomore pitcher out of Union Mills, N.C., White pitched a no-hitter in Limestone’s 5-0 win over USC Aiken on Feb. 16. She fanned five and walked just one in her complete game victory. In her two appearances on the week, White had 12 strikeouts.
