Angelos Mandilaris of Barton Chosen Conference Carolinas Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week

GREENVILLE, S.C. - Angelos Mandilaris of Barton has been selected as the Conference Carolinas Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week.

The conference office made the official announcement on Monday, Feb. 24, 2020. Mandilaris has now won weekly honors twice this season (Jan. 27 and Feb. 24). 

A senior right side from Chalkida, Greece, Mandilaris averaged an impressive 4.83 kills and 2.50 digs per set in a 3-0 week for Barton. Mandilaris also had seven total blocks on the week. 

The preseason All-American and reigning two-time Conference Carolinas Offensive Player of the Year had double-digit kills in all three matches. He had a double-double with 17 kills and 10 digs in a win over rival Mount Olive on Feb. 19.
