Jami Tham-Morrobel of Barton Named Conference Carolinas Women’s Basketball Player of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Jami Tham-Morrobel of Barton has been named the Conference Carolinas Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
The league office made the official announcement on Monday, Feb. 24, 2020.
A sophomore forward/center from Arlington, Va., Tham-Morrobel averaged 17.5 points, 14.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.0 steals per game in an undefeated week for Barton last week. She shot 62.5 percent (15-of-24) from the field on the week.
Tham-Morrobel first finished Barton’s win over rival Mount Olive with 20 points and 11 rebounds. She then brought down 18 rebounds (seven offensive) and scored 15 points in Barton’s win over Southern Wesleyan on Feb. 22.
