Jessica Rubbo of Limestone Earns Conference Carolinas Biweekly Acrobatics & Tumbling Award
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Jessica Rubbo of Limestone is the recipient of the Conference Carolinas Biweekly Acrobatics & Tumbling Award for March 10, 2020.
The league office made the official announcement on Tuesday, March 10, 2020.
A sophomore from Lexington, S.C., Rubbo played a pivotal role in Limestone’s win over Alderson Broaddus. Rubbo helped Limestone to a near perfect 9.95 score from 10.00 starting value in Heat 1 of the Pyramid event. The NCATA National Specialist of the Week earlier this season, Rubbo was included in a total of four winning heats in Limestone’s victory. She helped Limestone record a 9.50 out of 10.00 in Acro Heat 3 and a 9.10 out of a 9.40 in Heat 1 of the Toss before eventually capturing the team event with 89.87 points from a 101.97 starting value.
Limestone’s win over Alderson Broaddus was the first in program history.
