Trent Joiner of Mount Olive and Livan Reinoso of Erskine Pick Up Baseball Weekly Honors
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Trent Joiner of Mount Olive and Livan Reinoso of Erskine have earned the weekly honors for Conference Carolinas baseball.
Joiner collected Pitcher of the Week plaudits, while Reinoso was named the Player of the Week. The league office unveiled the weekly awards on Tuesday, March 17, 2020.
A senior left-handed pitcher from Huntersville, N.C., Joiner fanned seven in six innings in a 3-1 Mount Olive victory over Dominican (N.Y.) on March 11. He allowed just the one run and walked just two.
A junior infielder from Hazelton, Pa., Reinoso finished a thrilling 9-8 win over Mars Hill 3-for-4 with four RBIs and one run scored. He had two doubles in the victory.
