Larson Sundown of Limestone Named Conference Carolinas Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Larson Sundown of Limestone has been named the Conference Carolinas Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Week.
The conference office made the official announcement on Monday, March 2, 2020. Sundown repeats as the league’s Player of the Week after winning the award last week as well.
The senior from Basom, N.Y. tied a Limestone single-game record with 12 points in a 23-12 win at Saint Leo.
Sundown collected a career-high 10 goals while also dishing out two assists in the win for No. 1 Limestone. He became just the third player in the storied history of the Limestone program to score 10 or more goals in a single game.

Conference Carolinas has a rich tradition in roots that dates back to its early initial inception on Dec. 6, 1930. The NCAA Division II athletics conference presently has member schools located in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
