Britannie Ouimet of Limestone Chosen Conference Carolinas Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week

GREENVILLE, S.C. - Britannie Ouimet of Limestone has been chosen as the Conference Carolinas Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week. 

The league office made the official announcement on Monday, March 2, 2020. 

A junior from Westlock, Alberta, Canada, Ouimet finished Limestone’s two wins last week with 16 points on 11 goals and five assists. 

In Limestone’s 20-2 win over Lander on Feb. 26, Ouimet posted a season-best nine points on six goals and three assists. In Limestone’s conference win over Lees-McRae, Ouimet finished her efforts with five goals and two assists.

Conference Carolinas has a rich tradition in roots that dates back to its early initial inception on Dec. 6, 1930. The NCAA Division II athletics conference presently has member schools located in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Conference Carolinas member institutions are Barton, Belmont Abbey, Chowan, Converse, Emmanuel, Erskine, King, Lees-McRae, Limestone, Mount Olive, North Greenville and Southern Wesleyan.
