Kayla Vaughan of Belmont Abbey Selected Conference Carolinas Women’s Tennis Player of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Kayla Vaughan of Belmont Abbey has been selected as the Conference Carolinas Women’s Tennis Player of the Week.
The conference office made the official announcement on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2020. Vaughan has now won the award twice in the 2020 spring season.
The freshman from Jacksonville, Fla. picked up an impressive 6-1, 6-2 win over Augusta No. 1 Eva Miralles-Miro last week. Vaughan is undefeated on the season in singles at 3-0 (1-0 Conference Carolinas). She has played all of her matches at No. 1 singles.
