Emmanuel Picks Up Women's Team Title at 2020 Conference Carolinas Swimming Championships

Day Four Results
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Emmanuel earned the 2020 Conference Carolinas Women's Swimming Championship team title on Sunday, Feb. 16 at the Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center. 

It's the second straight team title for Emmanuel. 

Emmanuel netted a total of 864 points to secure the title over Barton, who closed out the championship with 785 total points. King was third with 398 total points. 

Karolina Ostojska of Emmanuel was named the Most Valuable Swimmer after the conclusion of the championship, while Zorey Sarget of Chowan was chosen as the Freshman of the Year. Emmanuel's Allen Gilchrest was named the Coach of the Year and Salem's Chloe Smart earned the Elite 23 Award for women's swimming with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average.
